According to official reports, the persecution of Greeks in Eastern Thrace lias been renewed with extreme vigour. Crowds of Creels peasants from Demotion have arrived at Dedagatch, and report that their wives and children have been massacred. Others crossed the Marimza in boats, the Turks volleying them, and many were drowned. INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE’S REPORT. ALL BELLIGERENTS GUILTY OF ATROCITIES. (Received May 18, 10.35 p.m.) I‘ARIS, May 18. The International Committee, despatched to the Balkans by the Carnegie fund, declares that although the Greek Bishops of Djiran, Kavalla, and Seres were erroneously reported to have been massacred, hundreds of villages were wantonly destroyed, and many civilian and military prisoners were butchered. All of the belligerents in the second war were guilty of atrocities.
