The stormy season is now here and it is necessary to take measures to protect yourself from the severe weather to be encountered during the next few months. Silk finish oil-clothing is the ideal protection for such weather. The walking coats are made of high-grade material, vary in length from 48 to 58 inches, and, though light are very strong. All coats are buttoned down the front and fastened at the throat with a strap and buckle. The collars are lined with velvet and stand well up the neck. The buttonholes are made in quadruple thickness of material and cannot tear or pull away, while the selvages are leather bound and well-sewn with strong thread, all seams being double stitched. The Materia! is Double Throughout, with an Extra Thickness at the Elbows, and Special Capes over the Shoulders. All coats are fitted with inside and outside pockets, and are well ventilated under the arms. Special features of these coats are the wind cuffs, which close over the wrist with rubber bands and thus keep the arms thoroughly dry and warm. “ Trafalgar ’’ brand walking coats, which we also stock, are of heavier quality and are made for rougher work. The lengths are the same as those previously mentioned. We have a large range of oilskin Leggings, Sou’westers, short Coats and Trousers suitable for seamen, Rubber Hide Gum Boots with leather soles, and Gum Boots, both hip and knee.
