RUSSIAN STRIKES
ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY THOUSAND MEN IDLE. Sy Telegraph—Pres* Association—Copyrlgk* ST. PETERSBURG, May 15. Many May Day strikes occurred in the principal cities. There are 130,00 Q workers idle. No disorder has occurred. - The strike is in. tho nature of a protest against tho fortnight’s suspension of several Socialist members of the Duma for disorderly interruptions. The Putiloff shipyard workers have joined tho strike. Many factories, -including Nobel’s and Siemen’s. have locked out ten : thousand men.
