Sales of A gradb Gartona have ecn made at Is 7id and Is 9d, and up to Is 9td for an exceptionally good line; B grade Is 7Jd and Is Bd. all net. Algerians have sold up to Is lOd, but there is no market tor light oats. Malting bailey has sold up to 3s lid net, less commission, at a country station. The position in regard to potatoes is not improving. Canterbury eeeme to monopolise the northern markets. The best quotation is 70s, with Dunedin as the only outlet. FEXLDING MARKET REPORT. A. H. Atkinson and Co. Ltd. report a small entry of poultry and a medium yarding of pigs with unices unchanged. Quotations :—Poultry—Hens 2s to 3s 3d, chicks Is. roosters 2s 6d to 4s 6d, ducks 3s 9(1.
