Fraulein Lola von Megyeri-Krans*, a young German woman well known in social circles in Buda ‘ Pest, has been taken seriously ill through taking daily large doses of powdered sealing wax, which she had been told wax the best means of acquiring a slim figure. A verdict of accidentally drowned was returned at an inquest on John Wainwright, a Bedworth (England) minor, whoso body was found in water only about a foot deep. It was stated that the man was on his way homo, that he sat down to rest, fell asleep, and probably rolled into the water.
