SOLWAY SHOW

What has been described as the event of the year as far as the Wairarapa is concerned, will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday next, when the Masterton A. and P. Association’s annual show will bo held on the beautiful Solway grounds. The entries more than compare favourably .with those of recent years, and are* representative of all classes of agricultural and pastoral life. The stock exhibitors include the leading breeders of New Zealand, while the standard reached in all other sections is the equal of any in New Zealand. The jumping competitions, which are always a source of great attraction to the general public, have brought forward the champion horses in the North and South Islands. The grounds have undergone many improvements since last year, and no more up-to-date and better appointed grounds exist in New Zealand to-day. On the two succeeding days the annual ram fair will be held, the entries for which total 2850, as against 2525 at last year’s fair. The entries comprise lots from the principal flocks of the Dominion. The train arrangements arc complete in every detail, and will ensure the public comfortable conveyance to and from the Solway grounds.
