LIFE-SAVING SOCIETY
WELLINGTON CENTRE. A meeting of the executive of the Wellington Centre of the Royal Life Saving Society was hold last night, when Mr G. S. Hill occupied the chair. An euedavour lias been made by the Dominion Executive Council (Christchurch Centre) to arrange a conference of life-saving representatives to he held at Blenheim during the swimming championship . meeting: Messrs G. o. Hill and G. H. Neal were proposed as representatives of the M ellington Centre. ' ... The following awards of merit in life-saving were approved:— G. 0. Morgan 83 points, E. J, Milson 82, C. J. H. Donnelly 78), J. A. Duffy 77).. Edward Perry 64. The iudges remarked that Perry s was a good performance considering the candidate had only one arm. Bronze medallions were granted to IV. J. Wray (Paokakariki Railway Surf and Life-Saving Club), M S. Galloway (Maranui Surf and Life-Saving Club), C. J. H. Donnelly and J. .A. Duffy (Maranui Surf and Life-Saving C W h J. Wray (Paekakariki Club) and C J. H. Donnelly and J. A. Dutty (Maranui Club) were granted proficiency certificates.
