AREAS TOR SELECTION.

During the present month 70,208 stores of land nre being thrown open for selection in the Dominion. The sections are available in the following districts t Auckland.—One section of lio3 acres of second-class land in the Waiaeha -district. Nine sections of second- 1 class land in the Waiawa district, ranging from 345 acres to , 1660 acres (total area 7082 acres). Eight sections Of national endowment lafad, tlruiawa district, varying from 743 acres to 1905 acres (total, area 12,668 acres). Thirteen sections of secondclass land, with right of purchase, or for renewable lease, in various parishes, ranging from ICi Acres to 554 acres (total area 2352 acres). Six sections of national endowment second-class land, iri various-parishes, varying from 98 acres to 861 acres (total area 2366 acres). Two Sections of first-class land for renewable lease in the Waitoa district, of 47 acres and 50 acres respectively. Fifty-four sections in the town of Takauwhata (total area 27a Sir 27p), and twelve sections in tile suburbs of Takauwhata (total area 60a 3r 39p), Hawke’s Bay.—Twelve town sections in Rakauroa (total area djacres). One section of rural land in the Waikohu. district of 5 acres 16 perches. Two sections in Otoko village. One section first-claeS land in the Ngatapa district of 34 acres. - Taranaki. —One section of town land in New Plymouth, Three sections ill Huh village (total area 3} acres). Two lots of suburban land in the Hawcra district (total area 8J acres). Three sections of second-class rural land (total area 2197 acres). Three sections of seCortd-class land in MahOe and Mapura districts (total area 1629 acres). ■Wellington,—Two sections of town land in Levin. One section in the town of Palmerston North.. Subdivisions 1 to 6 of section 12, Kairanga district, varying from 25 acres to 26) acres (total area 128 acres). Marlborough:—One run of 787 acres. Canterbury.—Three pastoral runs of 7300 acres, 7000 acres, and 11,IK) acres respectively in the Ashburton and Mackenzie counties.

Otago.—One section of 462 J aCres in the Teviot district. Two runs in the Taieri County of 7567 acres and 3433 acres respectively. Southland.—Six sections in the TOetoes district, varying from 325 acres to 706 acres (total area 1601 acres. Nine sections in the Tiltttran d-'strict ranging from 905 acres) tb 912 acres (total area 4931 acres).
