At about 4.45 o’clock yesterday morning the Union Company’s liner Afaunganui arrived in the stream from Sydney direct. Pratique was subsequently granted, and the vessel berthed at No. 6 (inner teei. Queen’s wharf. The Alaunganui left Sydney at 1 'p.m. on Saturday and had a fine weather passage although a strong wind prevailed on Tuesday night. The vessel is to sail at o o’clock this everting for southern ports, Hobart and Melbourne.
