BURGLARS FOILED

CONSTABLE’S SMART CAPTURE OF A MAN. Press Association. INVERCARGILL, February 10. What appears to have been an attempted burglary at Bray Bros, was smartly foiled by Constable Hood between 3 and 4 this morning. The officer noticed a trap containing two men pull up at the premises. The men entered and when they heard the constable approaching they escaped through an office window. After a sharp chase Hood captured one man, Edward. Harland, a pastrycook, wlio was charged with entering premises with, intent to commit a. crime. Harland was remanded till Wednesday.
