An old cannon, salved from the Lutine, a British Navy frigate lost wifJi bullion valued at £1,200,000 off the Zuyder Zee in 1799, has been placed outside Lloyd’s in the Royal Exchange, The bell of tho same vessel is tolled at Lloyd’s for news of overdue ships or wrecks.
