APPEAL FOR FUNDS..-- - TO TRAIN AUSTRALASIANS. D? Telegraph—Press Association—CopyrlgW SYDNEY. February 9. The Olympic Games Australasian Committee issues r to-day an ..appeal to the public to contribute to the proposed fund of £IO,OOO to train and equip .the team. It is expected that the number of the team will be, approximately, sixty, representing nil branches of athletics. Already £349 has been.promised. It is hoped the Government will again contribute. The amateur aspect is to be strictly preserved in the training of the competitors.
