NEW PRESIDENT ELECTED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received February 10, 0.40 a.m.) PORT-AU-PRINCE, February 9. General Orestes Zamor has been elected President of Hayti in place of General Leconte, who fled when the revolutionaries invaded the capital. On meeting Congress after his election President Zamor announced that the detachments of seamen and marines from foreign warships would return to their vessels, as conditions were now tranquil.
