HER PERFORMANCE SUPPRESSED. ■ IN INTERESTS OF PUBLIC DECENCY. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright VANCOUVER, February 8. The Mayor suppressed Miss Mane Lloyd’s final performance in the interests of public decency. He claims that she vilified him publicly on each appearance. Mias Lloyd has left to continue her American tour, stating that she has been disgracefully treated on British soil. Her husband (Dillon) has been refused admission to the United States.
CVliss Mario Lloyd, annoyod at the publication of a tstbry in the Vancouver World” newspaper, asserting tihat the Amerioaax Immigration authorities had refused to allow her to enter the United States after the close of her Canadian tour, and also criticising her performance, called at the newspaper office, and attached exMnyor Taylor, manager of the paper, who took the responsibility for the publication of the article. The police were called in, and forcibly ejected Miss Lloyd.] .
