WORKING MEN’S CLUB
HALF-YEARLY MEETING,
Mr J. McNee (president) presided at the seventy-second half-yearly meeting of the Working Men’s Club last evening. Over a hundred members were present. The committee was congratulated by the members on the satisfactory state of the balance-sheet, which was read and adopted. It was decided to hold the annual picnic at an early -date, and the arrangements were left in the hands of a committee.
Mr M. Eller was elected a life member.
