The Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Tainui arrived in the s.ream at Wellington at about 11-20 a.m. yesterday from London and Plymouth via pons. Pratique was granted, and the vessel subsequently berthed about Ll 3 p.m. at No. L, south (outer tee). Queen’s wiianTho Tainui left ixmdon on November 6th with 480 third class, 70 second class, ami 32 first class passengers. Plymouth was reached on November 7th, whore COO bags of Christmas mail were taken on board. Fine weather was enjoyed through the Bav of Biscay, and Telleritt,t was reached on November 13th, where 13 saloon passengers disembarked. Moderate conditions prevailed till ar- . rival at Capetown on November 2Sth. About 1500 tone of bunker coal were loaded and some 14 saloon vasscugers for Australia embarked. Tho voyage was resumed on tho following morning. Fine weather was experienced all the way to Hobart, whore the Tainui arrived early last Wednesday morning. About 660 tons of general cargo were discharged ami 1500 tons of biink'» coal were shipped. At Hobart 41 saloon, 10 second class and seven third class passengers embarked for Wellington, and 30 bags of Christmas mail were shipped. Tho last stage of the voyage was commenced at noon on Thursday and moderate" weather marked the run to Wellington. Captain T. Moffatt retains command, and has with him the following officers: —Chief.
