Lord Willoughby do Broke (captain of the Warwickshire Yeomanry) speaking at Newport Pagnell in Buckinghamshire, said if sympathisers of resistance are unable to go to Ulster they should scud a cheque and he would buy arms to equip someone to go at the proper time. He would decline to approach the Army officers and men regarding their attitude if ordered to shoot Ulstermen. The Army was tho best judge of what course to take. IRISH HOUSE OF COMMONS. The Government is advised that tho anna proclamations in Ireland are ultra vires and unsustainable, [The “Gazette” published on December 6th a Royal proclamation, which was signed at tho previous Thursday’s meeting of the Privy Council, prohibiting tho importation' of arms, ammunition, and gunpowder into Ireland. A second proclamation prohibited the coastwise carriage of similar commodities. Neither proclamation applied to articles intended fop sporting or other unwarlike purposes.]
