NEW UNION AT HUNTLY
TO START WORK NEXT MONTH,

AUCKLAND, December 22. The now union formed at Huntly has a membership of over 60. An agreement with the company was filed to-day. “We intend resuming early in January,” said Mr E. W. Alison, chairman of directors, to-day. “Ample protection will be afforded the men resuming work by regular police, and, if necessary, by special constables. I am pleased to be able to state that the farmers are prepared not only to protect the workers, but if required to assist in the introduction of ooal.”
