FRIDAY. DECEMBER 19. (Before Mr J. S. Evans, S.M.) For committing a breach of a probi bition order, Joseph William Spearman was lined Ids. Dennis Keenan was fined 20s, with -El 14s Gd costs, for haring wilfully broken a pane of glass, valued at 10s, the property of Chong Wong, by discharging a pea riflo at the window. A charge of having thrown down fireworks in the Poet Office square on Goto, her 30th. with intent to frighten passersby. was admitted by Frank Wesiby. Flavell, brunch ♦manager in -Wellington, with having omitted to stamp a receipt liable to duty. Mr P. J. Accused was represented by Mr Jackson and similarly remanded. Couneel explained that the Woman had recently b?en very ill and had been away from tho house at th© hospital. Bail Was allowed in th© sum of J 330. Counsel explained that the other accused could not find the JBSO security, but this woman was able to deposit the sum of >£3o.
