The following notice was posted outside the Queen’s Chambers immediately afterwards:— Federated Seamen’s Union of Australasia. To members of the union and others interested. We, the undersigned delegates of the Federated Seamen’s Union representing the above organisation in New Zealand hereby officially intimate that tho strike of seamen is now declared off, and that all members of tho organisation are free to accept employment on any ship from 4 p.m. to-day, Friday, December 19th, 1913.
