The match Boys’ High School v. Auckland Grammar School, for the Heathcote Williams Shield, was concluded today, High School retaining the trophy by a narrow margin after an exciting finish. Smeeton (Auckland captain) made a century. BoyS' High School's first innings realised 113 and the second innings 233, Auckland Grammar School's first innings 95 and second innings 233 (Smeeton 110). Wanganui College defeated Christ’s College easily. The visitors’ second ■ innings closed for 211, and College mode 136 in their second attempt. Scores: —Wanganui College 92 and 211, Christ’s College 62 and 136.
