SMALL-POX IN SYDNEY
STATEMENT BY FEDERAL PRIME MINISTER. By Telegraph-Press Association-Copyright MELBOURNE, October 23. In the Federal House of Representatives, Mr Cook, the Prime Munster, promised the appointment of a commission to inquire.regarding.the smallpox outbreak. He declared that the question of grappling with the disease could not he longer left in the hands of the New South Wales Board of Health. THREE MORE CASES. (Received October 23, 0.13 a.m.) SYDNEY. October 22. There were three fresh cases of small-pox in the city to-day.
