LORD CHIEF JUSTICE
SIR RUFUS ISAACS INSTALLED* By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, October 21. Sir Rufus Isaacs was to-day installed as Lord Chief Justice, in succession to Lord Alverstono, who resigned on. account of ill-health. There was an unprecedented attendance of Bench, Bar, and public. The Lord High Chancellor, Lord Haldane, addressing the Bar, said;— “We know him (Sir Rufus) as a man of the highest honour, with high* est desire to pursue the truth.”
