WELLINGTON-WEST COAST STEAMERS. SPECIAL SERVICE TO PICTON AND NELSON. The Union Company announces im« portant changes in the Wellington-Picton-Nelsou and West Coast services, which will bo inaugurated ok Monday, November 10th. On that date the Pateena will commence a series of evening sailings from Wellington on Mondays and Fridays ail 0 o’clock for Nelson direct. Every Wednesday the vessel will leave Web. lington at o p.m. for Pictou and Nelson. The Mapourika will leave Wei* lington at midnight on Mondays foB Picton only, and will leave the latteir port a£ 5.30 p.m. on Tuesdays for lington, where she is due late on the same night. The .Mapourika will leave Wellington at 5 p.m. on Wednesday* for Westport direct and Greymonthi, She will leave Greymoutli on Fridays’, Westport on Saturdays direct for WeL lington, and will arrive back at Wellington on Sundays, omitting to call at Nelson or Pioton. The Arahura will leave Wellington on Saturdays t as at present, for G rey - mouth via Picton, Nelson, and West*, port, and will return via the same ports, arriving back at Wellington on Wednesday nights. The Arahura will leave Wellington on Fridays at 1 p.m, for Picton, will arrive there at 5 p.m., and will sail at 6 p.m. for Wellington, where she will be due at 10 p.m, on Fridays. The sailings from Nelson will provide for evening departures on ■ Tups' days and Thursdays direct for Wellington. There will ho sailings from Nelson on Saturday mornings for Pioton and Wellington, which will provide the usual connection with the Maori from 'Wellington, for Lyttelton on • Saturday nights.
