AN ABORIGINAL EXECUTED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright PORT DARWIN, July 15, The aboriginal Koppio has been executed for the murder of two Chinese at Pine Greek on December 3rd. Two other natives had been under sentence for the crime. The decaying bodies of two Chinese gardeners were found beneath the ruins of a shed near Pine Creek on December 3rd. 1913. The bodies were terribly gashed and mutilated. It was supposed the men wore murdered by natives, and two natives were sentenced for the crime, but Koppio was subsequently found guilty.
