INCENDIARISM AND ROBBERY. By Tolcgi aph—Precs Association—Copyrisbi LONDON. July 14. William Ross has confessed to having set fire to the Salem chapel; also to robberies from other churches. Ho says he committed the crimes for a lark. He intended to rob and burn the principal churches on the Welsh coast. [lt was thought at first that tho fires were the work of suffragettes, but last week Ross was arrested on suspicion. The police theory was that the collection-boxes were robbed, and the fires started to cover up the thefts.]
