MAORIS BEAT SOUTHLAND. Press Association; IXVERCARGILL, July 16. The. Maori Rugby team met and feated the Southland representatives to-day by 8 points to 5. Teams from the Railway Head Office and the Government Printing Office played a match yesterday. The game was fast and open, but the railwaymen had altogether the best of the deal, winning by 36 points to 6.
