The Sunday Alliance is protesting against Sunday aviation exhibitions at Hendon as a flagrant, sinister development of ’ illegal Sunday trading for purely business purposes, often aggravated by the pretence that the exhibitions are for charitable objects. ACTION BY THE POLICE. (Sydney “Sun” Special OableJ (Received July 15, 6.55 p.m.) LONDON, July 15. At a flying exhibition at Hull on Sunday there were 10,000 spectators present. Names were taken by the police with a view to action under the Sunday Observance Act.
