lady resident doctor APPOINTED. Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 15. Dr. Eleanor Baker has been appointed fifth resident medical officer at the Auckland Hospital. Tho question of appointing a woman doctor to the position created rather a heated discussion, tho appointment being carried by seven votes to four.
