ARBOR DAY
PROGRAMME OF PLANTING. The principal ceremony will take place at section 48, Town Belt. The section lies about 400 yards south of Victoria College, and access is obtained from Kelbnrne parade through the cutting or via Salamanca road and Kelbume parade. The itinerary of his Worship tho Mayor, tho chairman of tho reserves, and members of tho council for the day is as follows: Kilbimie School, 9.15 a.m. Roseneath School. 10 o’clock. Section 48, Town Belt, 11 o’clock. Newtown School, 2 p.m. Island Bay, 3 p.m. The public are invited to attend the functions at these schools, and at all the schools where trees will be planted during the day.
