THE QUESTION OF SUCCESSION.
VIENNA, February 27. The “Donau Zeitung” states that the Archduke Francis Ferdinand, Heir-ap-parent to the Throne, is suffering from a serious lung complaint. A change in the law of succession ia likely. His wife is working in favour of her sons, who have no present chum, on the Throne. The successor to the Archduke Francis . Ferdinand will be his cousin, Carl Francis Joseph, heir-presumptive. The Archduke contracted a morganatic marriage with the Countess Chotek. Their eldest son is. by the act of renunciation of his father, not entitled to the succession to the Crown.
