MONTHLY MEETING DIGEST OF BUSINESS TRANSACTED. A Ducting of the Wellington Land Board was held at the District Lands and Survey Office yesterday, when there were present Messrs T. N. Lankey (deceased) applied to convert the tenure of section 34, block 18, Mangahno, to renewable lease, and it was resolved to approve in terms of section 169 of the Land A6t. 1908. It was resolved to offer section 2, block 5, Banrimu Township, for sale by public auction at an upset price of £25. J. E. Hitchcock wrote that ho is unable to reside on section 1, block 6, Mattugakaretn, owing to illness of his wife, and it was feSolved to grant three months in Which to transfer, otherwise the board mnst forfeit. It WaS resolved to approve of the amount received for improvements on section 25, block 9, Htmua, being dealt with as follows: £25 Kfe to be applied towards payment to Crown of part advances and cost of re-offering; the balance, £3 9b, to bo paid over to tho person found entitled to receive it. Knight applied to sub-let section 37, block 7, Umutoi, to. Grace N. Ewing for five years from March Xsth, 1913, and it was - resolved to approve. A. H. Hosken applied to let two cottages on section 13, block 2, Kakahi ■ V.S.’, and it was resolved to approve, provided he continues to reside on the section. John Kidd asked permission to let a cottage on section 5, block 6, Owhango Township, to N. Ericksen, and it was resolved to approve on condition that he continues in residence on the section. Mrs M. J. Koester applied to enb-let section 27, block 3, Rangataua Township, as she is living with her husband, on his Section 2, block 1. in same township, and it was resolved to approve. H. W. Stretton applied to enh-let section 15, block I. Kakahi VIS., adjoining hie freehold and boardinghouse, and it was decided to approve. TRAMWAY, AND OTHER, RIGHTS.
