“CONSISTENCY IS THE REFUGE OF FOOLS”
To, the Editor “N.Z. Times.” Sir, —Re the remarks ob Mr F. M. B. Fisher (cx-Liberal, ex-new Liberal, ox-independent, now Tory) on the above subject. 1 was conversing with a Constituent of his in Wellington Central yesterday and he told mo that in his-opinion there was something in what young Fisher had said. “I have always voted for Fisher,” he continued, “but in future intend to vote for a Liberal. WhyP Because consistency is only the refuge of fools. That’s why.” Funny thing, isn’t it, that whenever young Dahn speaks he always puts his foot in it! Let him make no mistake —Wellington Central is watching him. “You can fool all of the public for some time, and yon can fool some of the publio for -all time, but you can’t fol all -ef the publio for all time.”—l am., etc.. ANTI-HUMBUG. P.S. —Keep those leaders of yours going—they hit tho nail on the head every time.
