The “Pall Mall Gazette” says that Bernhardi’s now book states if there was war with France, Germany’s northern wing would advance through Holland and Bqlgium. Tho “Pall Mall Gazette” adds that it is known that King Leopold promised the Kaiser not to oppose the passage of Gorman troops through Belgium, “but of the Dutch attitude we have only circumstantial evidence of the fortifying of the entrance to the Scheldt against England.”
