At a fully attended meeting of the council of the federated clothing trade to-night a resolution was carried protesting against the absence of any newspaper reports outside Christchurch in connection with the wholesale clothing trade dispute before the Arbitration Court there last week. The resolution stated that in consideration of tho foot that over 3UUO female and many male workers were concerned with the dispute, that it was a Dominion dispute, and that the public was always closely interested in the conduct of the industry, the Press Association failed in its duty in not making known the leading facts as brought out.
