Before the Conciliation Council today an agreement was arrived at iu olio dispute between the Dunedin brewers 1 bottlers, bottle-washers, and aerated waters' union of workers and the employers, provision being made for a 18-bours’ week. Tho following wages were provided: For men on corking machines £2 10s, men emp!oyd_ as labourers in bottling bouses £2 Ss, men employed on aerated water bottling machines filling glass bottles £2 10s, youths between fourteen and years 12s 6d, fifteen to sixteen 15s. sixteen to eighteen £l, eighteen to nineteen ,£1 ss, nineteen to twenty £1 10s, twenty to twenty-one £1 15s.
