CRUSHING DEFEAT OF NATIONALISTS.

CALCUTTA, January 13. The Bengal Council elections resulted in a crushing defeat of the Nationalists, of whom only Surendranath Banerjoa, editor of the “ Bengalee,” and founder of the Eipon College, Calcutta, was, elected.
