THE WEATHER PROSPECTS

GENERAL FORECAST FOR TO-DAY. (By the Dominion 'Meteorologist.) Present indications (5 p.m. yesterday) are for high westerly winds, veering to southerly, with equally weather conditions. The barometer will probably fall in the north for a short time and rise in the south, though it is very unsteady there, and a further fall is likely to follow a temporary rise. Changeable weather, with heavy showers and some electrical disturbances, is probable in most parts of the Dominion. (Details on shipping page.)
