ALCOCK CKYSTABATE CUP TOURNAMENT.
The semi-finale in the Crvstalate Cup competition attracted a large audience last evening. Mr F. Farrell defeated Mr J. Key by 47 points in a long game marked by small scoring and much safety play. Best, runs by the winner were 24 . 22, and 20. Mr Kev put up a good effort, and made a lot of breaks just under 20. Mr A. tVakeliam defeated Mr W. A. Fordham by 43 points, showing good form in runs of 26, 24, and 24. Mr Ford ham had all the worst of the Inch, the balls going hatty all through the game—22 and 20 were the loser’s best figures.
The final game. 500 un. will be played off this evening between Mr A. VTakeham and Mr Fred. Farrell, play commencing at 8 o'clock. Seats mar be reserved on presentation of invitation tickets at the office of Messrs Alcock and Co.. Ltd., Baker’s buildings.
