ME WILFORD PROTESTS

IMPROVEMENTS URGENTLY NEEDED.

In tho House of Representatives last evening. Mr T. M. Wilford asked the Minister of Railways whether what had occurred at Treutham in the last two days would load him to believe there was urgent and grave necessity for'an absolute reorganisation of the traffic on race days: and whether the Minister would provide better facilities for entraining at Trentham on such days as Monday and Saturday. The accidents which had occurred, said Mr Wilford, and the humiliation which women had to suffer through being cramped and hustled in the crowd, rendered some improvement imperative. , The Hon. W. H. Horrics replied that if Mr Wilford would put his question on the order paper ho would have a reply.
