MINE HAS TO BE RE-SEALED AND FLOODED. HOBART, October 28. A further examination of the Lyell mine showed that there is little improvement in regard to the fumes. i Any attempt to penetrate the workings is considered impracticable. The mine has been re-scaled and flooding operations put in hand.
