INQUIRY INTO CONDITIONS IN BRITAIN. LONDON, October 23. Mr Asquith, Prime Minister, announced in the House of Commons that no was considering tho matter of setting up a Royal Commission to inquire regarding economic development and improvement of conditions’ of life in agricultural districts, on tho lines of Mr Roosevelt’s Country Life Commission set up in August, 1903.
