THREE MONTENEGRIN SUCCESSES

PODGORITZA, October 20.

Hassim Bey and Mahmud Begovie, with 2000 Arnauts (Albanians), marched from Plava, in the Kossovo district, to recapture Borano, which lies twenty miles north of Plava. Tho __ Montenegrins ambushed them, and after a desperate fight tho Arnauts were cut up. Hassim Boy and 280 men were captured and taken to Podgoritza. Meantime a Montenegrin force invested Plava, and captured the town alter two days’ lighting. They then marched on Gnsinjo. ten miles south-south-west, and took that post.
