A LIBERAL M.P.’s PROTEST.

Sir Arthur Markham, Liberal M.P. for Mansfield division of Nottinghamshire, and largely interested in coal and iron companies, protests against the land inquisition started in behalf of the Prime Minister by the Chancellor of the Exchequer in the form of an inquiry into foreign and English land systems. He declares that many other Liberals share his views.
