EPIDEMIC OF PARALYSIS IN LOS ANGELES. LOS ANGELES, August 9. , One hundred and seventy-three case* of infantile paralysis afe reported. There have been thirty-three death*. An edict has been issued .by the municipal authorities excluding children under the age of ten from publio playgrounds, and those under the age of fifteen are forbidden to attend enter* tainments or Sunday schools.
