REFORM LEAGUE SOCIAL

The members of the men’s and women’s Political Reform Leagues entertained themselves. delegates to the conference now being held, and members of Parliament on the Government side, and their wives and lady friends at a social evening on Saturday in the Sydney street schoolroom'. The room was artistically decorated with greenery. largely bamboo branches, which were made to grow large yellow paper poppies, yellow being the colour of the league. Fisher, white with a vienx rose opera coat; Mrs Earle, rose satin with overdress ol embroidered grey chiffon and a pearl necklet; Mrs Hawson, emerald green charmeuse; Mrs Robinson, b’ack jetted net -over silk; 'lira Darling, embroidered black ninon, finished with fringe over white silk, with a jewelled band in her hair: Mrs Morison. black with touches ot jet; Mrs Wilson, black and jet; Mrs Von Sturmer. pink with a pale blue brocade opera coat; Mrs Hammond, black with jewelled trimming: Mrs Moorhouse, black watered silk and black satin coat.
