Some time ago a complete cast of an animal's head was nnearthed at the Milburn lime quarry. This was shown to Dr Marshall (professor of geology at the Otago University) and his party of students while they were making their annual geological tour last week, and was pronounced to be that of a whale (reports the "Bruce Herald"). The specimen has since been conveyed to Dunedin, where it .will be placed on exhibition at the Otago Museum.
