DAVIS CUP CONTEST
AMERICAN TEAM MAY NOT TAKE PART.
. SYDNEY, July 30. The secretary of the Tennis Association has received from the president of the United States Association a cable message stating that the prospects of sending a team to play for the Davis Cup are very discouraging.
