DEATH OF A MAORI GIRL
VICTIM OF ALLEGED ASSAULT BY TOHUNGA, PBESS ASSOCIATION. PALMERSTON NORTH, July 30. Emily Heta, the sixteen-year-old girl regarding whom the tohunga Hingawhata Tuparoa has beep committed for trial on a charge of indecent asault, died at Motuiti Pa yesterday of consumption. Her evidence was taken at a special sitting of the court at the pa last week.
