CONCERNING A WILL
*’INTERPRETATION' ASKED FOE. In the Supremo Court yesterday his Honor Mr Justice Chapman heard legal argument on points raised preliminary to the bringing of an action to Set aside the transfer of an estate by the executrix of ■ the will of E. T. Watson, formerly baker, of Granity, to one of the beneficiaries.
The parties to the action were Lillias Anne Watson, nurse, of Wellington, plaintiff, and Jessie Watson, widow of the deceased, and Robert Tannihill Watson, hotelkeeper, both of Granity, defendants.
Mr B. K. Kirkcaldie appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr C. P. Skerrett, K.C., with him Mr A. de B. Brandon, jun., appeared for defendants.
The folio wing questions were submitted for the decision of the court: — Wls the will of Robert Tannihill iV at son, deceased, mentioned in the amended statement of claim-, operative dispose of all his property in favour of the persons, or any of them, men■tionod in the said will? (2) If the said will bo so operative, what interests (if any) do tho widow (Jessie Watson) and tho children of the testator take under its provisions? >'M) Is it necessary, in 6rder that this action may be properly constituted, that any other person or persons should bo joined . as plaintiffs or defendants? After hearing tho contentions of counsel his Honor reserved his decision
